It's clear that the Bears need to run the ball more. Bears fans have been clamoring for it for some time now. It seems, based on comments made over the last two weeks, that the Bears coaches and players area aware of this.
"We've heard from virtually everyone that they need to come out and run the football. And now it's a matter of them going out and doing it," Brad Biggs said. "But again, they need to do it for the second half of the season, not just against [the Bills]."

"You have to run the ball on first down," Biggs said. "You have to put yourself in a manageable down and distance and that is what this wild play calling [hasn't] created for them. And that's why they're the worst team in the National Football League on third down. That's why their time of possession stinks. That's why their defense has been on the field too much, because they just haven't haven't acted properly on first and second down."
"I don't know if you can put a percentage on it," Biggs said referring to the ratio of run to pass plays. "But, I do know that they've thrown the ball 76% of the time since the Giants game and that's way out of wack."
