Hospital Employee Attacks Co-Worker, Kills Self
CHICAGO (CBS) – A cafeteria employee at the Stroger Hospital committed suicide Monday after getting into a physical fight with a female co-worker, officials said.
The fight between a male and female -- both food service workers -- occurred around 2 p.m., according to a spokesperson for the Cook County hospital. After the altercation, the male employee locked himself in a room and killed himself.
The female cafeteria employee was taken to the trauma unit for treatment. She was in stable condition.
