Horse Racing Set To Return At Arlington Race Track In July, Pending Approval
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (CBS) -- Horse racing is set to return at Arlington Park, without fans, at least to start.
The track reached a tentative agreement, and now awaits official word from the Illinois Racing Board on Thursday.
The plan is to begin racing on July 23, and run through Sept. 30.
The proposed schedule would have racing on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
