Holiday Meal Giveaways In Aurora, Indiana
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Families in need in Aurora will still have Thanksgiving meals, even if they couldn't make it to a food distribution event over the weekend.
The city handed out turkeys and meal boxes at five public housing neighborhoods. They're calling it the 2020 Turkey Express.
Meantime in Lake County, Indiana, families lined up in their cars for safety to pick up a full Thanksgiving dinner.
Officials handed out 1,200 baskets to families who could use some help.
