Highs in the 70s this weekend in Chicago
CHICAGO (CBS) — South winds and sunshine will lead to gorgeous, warmer-than-normal weather this weekend into early next week.
High temperatures this weekend rise well into the 70s – even approaching 80 in the suburbs on Sunday – under beautiful cloudless skies. Outdoor plans both days look wonderful.
Early next week, Chicago may see an 80-degree high temperature two weeks later than we typically end that kind of heat. A cold front with only a few sprinkles arrives thereafter, bringing a brief spat of chillier winds Wednesday into Thursday.
This weekend will bring Chicago's final 6 p.m. sunset of the season on Sunday. We will not see another sunset that late until the evening of March 9.
