Hester Earns 11th Career Weekly Special Teams Honor
(CBS) After scoring his 16th career kick return touchdown Sunday, Devin Hester was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week Wednesday.
Hester racked up 134 return yards Sunday against the Vikings, including his 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. He now has five career kickoff return touchdowns to go along with his 11 punt return touchdowns.
The wide receiver also had five catches for 91 yards and a touchdown in the game.
This was the 11th time Hester has been named Special Teams Player of the Week and the second time this season (Week 4 vs. Carolina).
