Hendry Has Successful Surgery
The Chicago Blackhawks announced that on Tuesday, defenseman Jordan Hendry underwent successful surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
"Reconstructive surgery to repair Jordan's left knee ACL tear went well today," said Dr. Michael Terry, the Blackhawks' Head Team Physician who performed the operation. "We anticipate a full recovery in approximately six months."
Over the past four seasons, the 27-year old Hendry has recorded four goals, nine assists and 40 penalty minutes in 129 regular season games. He also appeared in 15 games during last seasons' Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Hendry will become an unrestricted free agent after this season.
