Headless Dog Discovered In West Side Alley
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A decapitated dog was found in an alley in the West Side's South Austin neighborhood.
Police said around 6:20 p.m. Monday, officers were called to an alley behind the 5400 block of West Gladys Avenue and found the headless dog.
Nobody is in custody as of Monday night, police News Affairs Sgt. Antoinette Ursitti said.
It was not specified whether the dog was killed by decapitation, or if its head was severed after death.
Grand Central Area police detectives are conducting an ongoing investigation.
