Harry Caray statue will be moved and rededicated
On September 1 the Cubs will rededicate the Harry Caray statue after its moved from its current location, Sheffield and Addison, to right outside the entrance to the bleachers.
The team announced today that there will be a pregame ceremony involving Dutchie Caray, Harry's wife, and Cubs chairman Tom Ricketts.
The statue is being moved to make room for a Billy Williams that will takes its Sheffield and Addison location.
Chicago is quickly becoming a hot bed for sports statues as it was announced that Scottie Pippen will have a statue dedicated in his honor. Pippen's statue will be placed inside the United Center.
