Ham: Feds Could Get Involved With Penn State
(WSCR) With legal issues swirling around Penn State and former defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky for his alleged sexual abuse of young boys, The McNeil and Spiegel Show brought in The Score's legal analyst Eldon Ham to help make sense of the controversy in Happy Valley.
Ham said the federal government could get involved, given the severity of these issues.
"The whole place there had become an insestuous mess," Ham said. "It seems that everyone involved has known each other forever and has worked for each other at some point in time. It may or may not have been an expressed conspiracy, but there was some kind of implicit understanding. ... I think the feds could get involved, they might get involved, because of the insestuous nature of all of this. Everybody knew everybody else. Most of these key people had worked for each other at one time or another. It's remarkable."
