Habitual Bank Robber Strikes Again, This Time In Glenview
(STMW) -- A man who already robbed five Northwest Side and suburban banks since late-October struck again Monday -- this time in Glenview.
The suspect robbed the MB Financial Bank branch in the 2200 block of Waukegan Road in Glenview Monday, according to the FBI.
He is also suspected of robbing the Glenview State Bank branch in the 1800 block of South Arlington Heights Road in Arlington Heights on Nov. 23, the TCF Bank branch in the 2300 block of North Harlem Avenue on Nov. 15, the Harris Bank branch in the 600 block of Busse Highway in Park Ridge on Nov. 9, the popular Community Bank branch in the 7100 block of West Irving Park Road on Nov. 5 and the TCF Bank branch in the 1400 block of West Algonquin Road in Rolling Meadows on Oct. 26.
Each incident is described as a "non takeover robbery," according to the FBI.
The suspect is described as a 6-feet-tall white man with his head covered, the FBI said. In each incident he wears a baseball cap.
A reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest and conviction. Anyone with information should call the FBI Chicago at (312) 421-6700.
