Gunman Sought In Humboldt Park Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot multiple times, including at least once in the face, early Saturday in the Humboldt Park neighborhood.
Someone shot the man multiple times about 3:15 a.m. in the 2800 block of West Augusta Boulevard, said police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, was taken in serious condition to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County with gunshot wounds to the face and body, police said.He was outside by himself when he was shot, according to a Wood District police lieutenant.
Harrison Area police Sgt. Paul Sedlacek said detectives are investigating the shooting and no one has been arrested.
