Gucci Store On Michigan Avenue Robbed
CHICAGO (CBS)-- The Gucci store on the Magnificent Mile was robbed Monday morning.
According to police, two men wearing dark masks entered the store, 900 N. Michigan Ave., and implied they had a weapon.
The offenders took merchandise from the store before fleeing eastward from Michigan Avenue. No one is in custody and officials are investigating.
A short time later, two women took merchandise from the George Greene store, at 49 E. Oak. St., police said. The offenders then ran to a waiting black vehicle, possibly a Chrysler with out-of-state license plates, and fled.
Thieves hit several stores in the same area last week.
