Grote: Konerko And Putz Say No, For Now

That is a no from Paul Konerko and J.J. Putz.
Each refused to accept the White Sox offers of salary arbitration and are both now on the free agent market. However, the chance remains either will return to the South Side in 2011.
If the Sox lose Konerko or Putz, they would be compensated with draft picks.
Last week the White Sox did not offer salary arbitration to A.J. Pierzynski, but he also could return to the Sox.
