Greenstein: Michigan State Has Had Michigan's Number
By Teddy Greenstein of The Chicago Tribune
Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio does not think undefeated Michigan is due for a loss.
"When you're 6-0, you're confident," he said. "When you haven't lost yet, it's tougher and tougher to beat that football team because they find a way."
Interesting theory. But it's not rooted in reality.
Two years ago, the Wolverines were 4-0 when Michigan State clipped them 26-20 on a Larry Caper overtime run. Last season, Michigan was 5-0 until the Spartans trounced them 34-17.
