December 22, 2010 - CBS 2 News at 5PM
If you're diabetic and check your blood sugar to stay healthy, you better check the kind of strips you're using.
Abbott Labs is recalling 359 million testing strips that may give false readings with low blood sugar levels.
The FDA says the problems are caused by a defect.
The test strips, which were manufactured between Jan. and May 2010, are sold both in retail and online settings directly to consumers, but are also used in health care facilities.
