Glenview Landlord Wants To Evict Cain Accuser
GLENVIEW, Ill. (STMW) - The landlord of a north suburban woman accusing GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain of sexual harassment is trying to evict her from her townhome, saying she owes $7,500 in back rent.
Cook County Sheriff's deputies arrived Tuesday to serve an eviction notice at Sharon Bialek's townhouse in The Glen subdivision in Glenview, but Bialek was not home.
Sheriff's spokesman Frank Bilecki said her landlord filed the eviction order to collect the back rent. The sheriff's department has until Dec. 15 to serve Bialek with the eviction notice, which requires her to appear in court, Bilecki said.
Court records show Bialek filed for bankruptcy in 1991 and 2001.
