Glen Ellyn Firefigher Accused Of Stealing Over $200,000
GLEN ELLYN (CBS) -- A long-time Glen Ellyn firefighter has been charged with stealing more than $200,000 in department funds.
Newsradio 780's Mike Krauser reports, David Garmoe has been a member of the Glen Ellyn Volunteer Fire Company for 26 years.

He's 54-years-old and was promoted to lieutenant earlier this year.
Then he was suspended when officials discovered money was missing.
For the past 20 years, Garmoe has been the fire company's treasurer, and authorities say it was in that role that Garmoe stole $260,000 over the past seven years.
Garmoe is charged with theft, money laundering and forgery.
