Girl Hospitalized After Being Hit By Bus In Woodstock
(CBS) -- A little girl is hospitalized after she was hit by a Pace bus in far northwest suburban Woodstock.
The accident happened after 3 p.m. at a Walmart parking lot. First responders wrapped the girl in blankets and rushed her inside a Flight for Life to Park Ridge in critical condition.
A Pace spokesman says the bus was being driven by a contractor for 1st Transit, which is based in McHenry.
The driver has been taken out of service pending an investigation by local authorities and Pace.
