Girl, 13, Goes Missing From West Side

CHICAGO (STMW) - Police are seeking a 13-year-old girl who has gone missing from the West Side.

On May 10, Ronnetta Armstrong left her residence in the 1700 block of North Mayfield Avenue, telling her family that she was going to a local store, according to a release from Grand Central Area detectives.

She did not return and police believe she may be in the area of Jackson and Western. She was wearing a checkered brown hat, pink shirt, pink shorts and black flip flops, the release said.

She is described as an African-American girl, 5-foot-2, and she weighs 155 pounds. Armstrong has brown eyes, black hair and a medium complexion, the release said.
