CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 4-year-old girl burned badly in a fire over the weekend has died, Cook County health officials said Monday.
The intentionally lit fire happened in the 4200 block of West 21st Place in the Lawndale neighborhood early Saturday.
Police say it was arson. The suspect, 29-year-old Nathaniel Beller, died Sunday after he reportedly doused an adult woman and her two children with a flammable liquid and lit them on fire.
The girl's mom, 33-year-old Taniya Johnson, died in the fire.
Her 9-year-old brother is in critical condition.
