Girl, 15, Stabbed In Leg In Fight In South Shore
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 15-year-old girl was hospitalized Tuesday morning, after being stabbed in the leg in a fight with three other girls in the South Shore neighborhood.
Police tell CBS 2 the fight broke out around 12:45 a.m. in the 6700 block of South Paxton Avenue. The girl and her cousin got into a fight with three other girls they knew, and one of them stabbed the girl with an unspecified object, police said.
The girl was taken to the Comer Children's Hospital at the University of Chicago Medicine, where she was reported in good condition, police said.
No one was in custody in the stabbing as of just before 7 a.m. Tuesday.
