Girl, 15, Found Safe After Vanishing
CHICAGO (CBS) - A 15-year-old Chicago girl who vanished from a family home in Evanston last week has been found safe, police said Tuesday morning.
Darya Lending, who lives on the Northwest Side, had last been seen leaving an Evanston home on Friday, according to an endangered missing persons alert from Grand Central Area detectives.
She was believed to be visiting the South Side's Englewood or West Side's Garfield Park neighborhoods, though she does not have family there. She suffered from emotional issues and behavioral problems, police said.
On Tuesday morning, Chicago Police reported Lending had been found uninjured and unharmed.
