Gill: Noah's Return Improves Boozer And Defense
On Wednesday, Joakim Noah will make his return to the Chicago Bulls lineup after missing 30 games due to hand surgery. We've already discussed how he will help the team offensively, but he'll be a big boost defensively as well.
"Well, you know, I think he's going to help," former Bull Kendall Gill said on the Danny Mac Show when asked about Noah's return impacting the defense.

"I mean, Joakim is the anchor to that defense and they still maintain that great defense, I think they're second in the league right now defensively. And I think that now with Joakim back they'll be even better. I think that he's going to help Carlos Boozer out a great deal. I think Carlos Boozer is a great offensive player, but sometimes he does struggle on the defensive end, and that's one of the things Joakim will help hide when he comes back...And coach [Tom] Thibodeau knows that, that's why he's so excited to get this guy back."
The Bulls rank second in the NBA allowing 92.4 points per game.
