Gary Man Dies From Gunshot Wounds
GARY, Ind. (STMW) - A Gary, Ind., man died from multiple gunshot wounds early Saturday, the Lake County Coroner's office said.
Jermaine Johnson, 23, was pronounced dead at 2:55 a.m.
The coroner's office labeled his death a homicide.
In January, Johnson was charged with burglarizing a Black Oak truck service company with two other men. Johnson was also charged with resisting law enforcement after police said he fled from them after he was handcuffed.
In 2009, Johnson was charged with aggravated battery.
