Game 6 Of World Series Postponed
(CBS) Major League Baseball postponed Game 6 of the World Series Wednesday because of rain in the St. Louis area.
The announcement came about 4.5 hours before the start of tonight's scheduled game between the Texas Rangers and St. Louis Cardinals.
Game 6 will now be played Thursday at 7:05 CT. Game 7 will be played Friday night, if necessary. The Rangers hold a 3-2 lead in the series.
