Full Lane Closures On Lake Shore Drive Planned
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A portion of Lake Shore Drive will be closed over four nights next week to allow crews to resurface the s-curve near Oak Street.
The northbound lanes will be closed next Monday and Tuesday between Michigan Avenue and Randolph Street.
The southbound lanes will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday.
The closures will begin at 8:15 p.m. and end at 5:45 a.m., weather permitting.
Motorists are advised to avoid Lake Shore Drive unless absolutely necessary and to use I-90/94, the Dan Ryan and Kennedy Expressways, as alternate routes.
