Frolik Will Make First Start, Hossa Doubtful
The Chicago Blackhawks will take on the Dallas Stars on Friday night and not only will it be the first time Marty Turco faces his old team, it'll be new acquired Michael Frolik's Blackhawks' debut.
"I'm excited," Frolik told the Chicago Tribune's Chris Kuc. "It's a great hockey club...[with] so many great players. They're the Stanley Cup champions so it's exciting to be here. Everything is new for me but the guys have been great. It's a new start for me. I'm looking forward to being here. I can't wait for the game."
Frolik is expected to play on a line with Troy Brouwer and Tomas Kopecky. Frolik and Brouwer will line up as wings and Kopecky at center.
Marian Hossa was described by head coach Joel Quenneville as doubtful for Friday night's game as he battles the flu.
