Friday Night Lucky For Two Suburban Lottery Players
CHICAGO (STMW) - Friday night was a lucky night for two lottery players in the south suburbs. A Mega Millions player and a Little Lotto player each won $250,000 in drawings held Friday night, according to the Illinois Lottery.
The Mega Millions prize was as close as anyone in Illinois came to matching all six numbers in the multi-state lottery game. That ticket was purchased at Gennaro Drugs Inc., 5549 W. 87th St. in Oak Lawn.
The winning numbers in Friday's Mega Millions drawing were: 04 - 12 - 29 - 49 and 51, and the Mega Ball number was 44. The estimated grand prize for Friday's drawing was $100 million. No one matched all the numbers and the jackpot increased to an estimated $116 million for Tuesday's drawing.
A $250,000 prize was also won by a Little Lotto player Friday night. That ticket was sold at the Torrence BP, 17002 Torrence Ave. in Lansing, according to the Illinois Lottery.
The winning numbers in the Little Lotto drawing were: 06 - 08 - 15 - 18 and 21.
