Fox Impressed With All Aspects Of Bears' Play In 37-13 Victory Over Rams

(CBS) After the Bears' dominating 37-13 victory over the Rams on Sunday, there was plenty of credit to go around, and coach John Fox wasn't shy about praising everyone involved, from Jay Cutler and the offense to a defense that had its best showing of the season even without its best player.

"It was a good team effort, guys prepared hard, and it was kind of nice not to bring it down to the wire like we had our other victories," Fox told WBBM Newsradio's Josh Liss on Monday morning.

Chicago's victory at St. Louis was the first time this season the Bears won a game by more than three points.

In particular, Fox praised rookie running back Jeremy Langford and tight end Zach Miller, who both scored on long pass plays and showed their big games against the Chargers last week weren'tflukes.

"Both guys have been consistent performers the last few weeks," Fox said. "It couldn't happen to better guys. They work hard, and it's exciting to watch both of them play."

With four wins in their last six games, the Bears are arguably one of the hotter teams in the NFL right now, but are they contenders for a a playoff spot?

"We'll be as hot as we work to be," Fox said. "So I think our guys understand that it's one week at a time, and all that goes into the preparation is the key, and we'll see if we can continue that."
