Four Shot On South Side
CHICAGO (STMW) - Four men were shot in the South Side Englewood neighborhood Saturday evening.
Police received a call of multiple victims shot at about 6:35 p.m., according to police News Affairs Officer Daniel O'Brien.
The men were standing in a gas station parking lot in the 6600 block of South Halsted Street when a person driving a small black car shot at them, according to police News Affairs.
A 32-year-old man was shot three times -- once in the hand, wrist and chest -- and went to University of Chicago Hospital in "stable" condition, police said. A 30-year-old man was shot in the leg and taken in good condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
A 25-year-old man was shot in the chest and was in "stable" condition at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, police said. A fourth victim, a 34-year-old man, was shot in the leg and was in good condition at Saint Bernard Hospital.
No one is in custody, and Area Central detectives continue to investigate.
