Four Seriously Injured In Five-Vehicle South Suburban Wreck
CRESTWOOD, Ill. (STMW) - Four people were seriously injured in a five-vehicle crash in south suburban Crestwood Wednesday evening, fire officials said.
The crash happened just after 5 p.m. at the intersection of Route 83 and Cal Sag Road in Crestwood, according to the Crestwood Fire Department.
Four people were hospitalized in serious condition after the five-vehicle crash, the department said. Victims were taken to MetroSouth Medical Center in Blue Island, Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights and Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
Crestwood police could not immediately provide further details.
