Four People Shot Outside West Side Nightclub
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Four people were shot early Sunday outside of a nightclub in the Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.
The shooting happened about 3 a.m. outside of a nightclub in the 2700 block of West Madison Street, said police News Affairs Officer Daniel O'Brien.
Police said that among those shot were:
- A 32-year-old woman who was shot in the mid-section and was taken in serious condition John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County.
- A 21-year-old man was shot in the groin and the hand.
- An 18-year-old man shot in the buttocks.
- An 18-year-old man shot in the thigh.
All three men were listed in "stable" condition Sunday at Stroger, police said.
Initial reports indicated five people were shot, however, police corrected that number to four.
Police declined to name the nightclub where the shootings happened.
Area North detectives are investigating. No one was in custody as of Sunday afternoon.
