Four Hurt In West Englewood Crash
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Four people were hurt when a car crashed into a viaduct early Tuesday in West Englewood on the South Side.
About 1 a.m., the car was heading east on 74th Street near Ashland Avenue when rain started to fall and the driver lost control of the vehicle, which slammed into the viaduct, according to Chicago Police.
All four people in the car were taken to hospitals with injuries that weren't thought to be life-threatening, police said.
The driver, a 63-year-old man, was issued three traffic citations for negligent driving, damaging public property and failure to stay in a lane.
