Former White Sox Hitting Coach Jeff Manto Hired By Orioles
(CBS) The Orioles have hired former White Sox hitting coach Jeff Manto.
Manto will now act as the Orioles' minor league hitting coordinator.
Manto had been with the White Sox since 2007, serving as the hitting coach the last two seasons, before he was fired following the team's 99-loss season.
Todd Steverson was hired in place of Manto last week.
