Former Berwyn Family Among Oklahoma Tornado Victims Starting Over
(CBS) -- A family that used to live in west suburban Berwyn lost their house to the tornado in Moore, Okla., this week, and have begun starting over again.
WBBM Newsradio's Steve Miller reports, when the winds had died down, 18-year-old Brandon Quiroz went outside his high school in Moore, and watched his mother walk up with his little brother. They had come to walk him home.
"My mom already told me that there was hardly anything left of the house, so I was already kind of prepared to see nothing left. But there was a few stuff we could still find that was in all-right condition," Quiroz said.

Amazingly, they were able to salvage family photos.
"There was a place we kept our albums, and that wall was perfectly intact," he said.
Quiroz said no one in his family was injured.
"We're fine. We're just trying to find a new place to stay for a while, just so we can get back on our feet, and prepare to start over again," he said.
Quiroz was supposed to graduate from high school on Saturday, but now he's not sure if there's a ceremony.
