Former Bear Otis Wilson: 'Jury's Still Out' On Armstrong
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The decision by U.S. Anti-Doping Agency to come down hard against Lance Armstrong could have a wide-ranging effect on other sports beyond cycling, given that drug testing efforts have been stepped up across the board.
As WBBM Newsradio's John Waelti reports, the agency banned cyclist Lance Armstrong for life, stripping him of his seven Tour de France titles -- after he decided not to contest doping charges.

Former Chicago Bears linebacker Otis Wilson says the NFL is also getting tough with testing.
"You cannot get away in our profession on any kind of steroids," Wilson said. "They do test. They randomly test, and there's measures in place that you can' t get by."
Wilson would not pass judgment one way or the other on Armstrong's alleged transgressions.
"I don't have enough information to convict anybody, so I'm just going to say the jury's still out," he said.
Regardless, Wilson says, Armstrong should not have been stripped of his titles without hard evidence that he was tainted.
The Anti-Doping Agency claims 10 former teammates were prepared to testify against Armstrong.
Armstrong now faces a permanent ban from sports competition and is vowing not to speak about the charges again.
