Florio: Anybody Would Pick Tebow over Hanie
(WSCR) After the Bears' 13-10 overtime loss to the Broncos on Sunday, linebacker Brian Urlacher had some interesting comments about the Broncos signal caller.
"He's a good running back, man," Urlacher said about Tim Tebow. "He runs the ball well. They have a good offense. They do some different plays we don't see. I thought we did a good job overall defending the unusual plays."
The subtle dig at Tebow didn't sit well with one NFL expert.
"You shouldn't be taking a shot at Tebow when, No. 1, he's beaten you," Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk told The McNeil and Spiegel Show. "No. 2, if you ask anybody around the NFL right: 'Who would you rather have playing quarterback for your team -- Tim Tebow or Caleb Hanie?' If anybody says Caleb Hanie, they're lying."
