Flooding From Overnight Rain Causing Slick Road Conditions For Drivers
CHICAGO (CBS)-- Overnight flooding caused slick driving conditions for drivers Thursday morning.
On the Stevenson Expressway, cars stalled in water with hazards on as drivers slowly move through the flooded roadway. Dozens of crashes have been reported.
CBS 2's Lou Kleinberg was on the scene, driving through the standing water. Traffic delays can be expected.
In Summit, Illinois, a car became submerged in water in Summit, Illinois due to flooding caused by the overnight rain.
Crews are responding to the flooded area at 63rd and Archer.
