March 28, 1995 - Jordan scores 55 points against the Knicks
Just 10 days after announcing his return to the NBA, Michael Jordan did one of those "Michael Jordan" things.
In his fourth game back, Jordan hit the game-winning shot against the Hawks in what was perhaps a sign of things to come.
In the very next game, Jordan's fifth game back after walking away from basketball for 18 months, Jordan dropped 55 points on the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden. Jordan shot 21-of-37 from the field and was 10-of-11 from the line as the Bulls beat the Knicks, 113-111.
The 6-foot-6-inch small forward was 14-of-19 for 35 points in the first half alone.
His 55 points were the highest total in the NBA that season, and the most points ever scored against the Knicks in the Madison Square Garden.
