August 4, 1993 - Robin Ventura charges Nolan Ryan
After Nolan Ryan beamed the then 26-year-old Robin Ventura with a fast ball last in the 1994 season, no one could've guess what happened next.
Instead of simply trotting to first base, Ventura charged the mound with his sights set on the 46-year-old Ryan.
Though Ryan was 20 years older than the young Ventura, Ryan secured the youngster in a headlock and repeatedly punched him in the head until catcher Iván Rodríguez was able to separate the two.
Both benches cleared, and Ventura was ultimately ejected. Ryan, however, stayed in the game and didn't allow a hit for the rest of his start.
The video of the now infamous brawl is played before the start of every Texas Rangers game.
