Five Injured In Little Village Crash
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Five people were injured Sunday afternoon during a traffic crash in the Little Village neighborhood.
About 3:10 p.m., five people were injured in a traffic accident at West Ogden and South Kostner avenues, Fire Media Affairs spokesperson Kevin MacGregor said.
An EMS Plan 1, which sends five ambulances to the scene, was initiated for the accident.
Two people were taken in critical condition to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, MacGregor said. Three were taken in serious condition to University of Illinois Medical Center at Chicago.
Police News Affairs Sgt. Antoinette Ursitti said she was aware of activity in the area but further details were not immediately available.
