Five Arrested In Aurora Prostitution Sting
AURORA, Ill. (CBS) -- Three women and two men were arrested in a prostitution sting at an Aurora hotel Thursday afternoon.
Police Special Operations Group investigators conducted the sting Thursday afternoon at a hotel in the western suburb and targeted several different internet sites known for advertising sexual services, according to an Aurora police release. Police are not saying where the sting was conducted to protect the integrity of future operations.
The three women and two men -- Tina Rene Chavez, 39, of the 3100 block of Finley Road in Downers Grove; Liu Qing, 26, of the 300 block of Cermak Road in Chicago; Wendy M. Negron, 37, of the 800 block of North Swift Road in Addison; Antonio Chavez, 26, of the 1100 block of East Fifth Street in Sandwich, and Pedro Luis Martinez, 24, of the 3000 block of South Keeler Avenue in Chicago -- were charged with prostitution after allegedly offering a male undercover officer money in exchange for sexual acts, police said.
All of those charged have court dates of July 23 at 9 a.m., at the DuPage County Courthouse in Wheaton.
