First Lady In Town For Steve Harvey Show, Fundraisers
CHICAGO (CBS) -- First Lady Michelle Obama will be in town today for a pair of fundraisers for the president's re-election campaign, and to tape an appearance on Steve Harvey's new daytime talk show.
Her appearance on the Steve Harvey show will air next Wednesday, according to the First Lady's office.
After taping the show, she will attend two campaign fundraisers Thursday evening in Chicago. The first fundraiser is at Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Studios facility on the Near West Side. The other will be at the home of Fred Eychaner, who is hosting an LGBT Leadership Council event.
After her visit to Chicago, the First Lady will make campaign stops in Iowa and Wisconsin on Friday.
