Fireworks Shows Canceled And Postponed

CHICAGO (CBS) -- As of Wednesday morning, nine Chicago area fireworks shows from our full list have been postponed or canceled, many due to the drought.
Antioch, Carol Stream, Cary, Fox River Grove, Mundelein, Plainfield, Round Lake, Wauconda and Wheaton will no longer hold the originally scheduled events.
Wheaton has canceled both the fireworks show and the parade due to damage from the Sunday storm. Carol Stream's fireworks and parade have been canceled for similar reasons.
Cary, Mundelein and Plainfield will not have fireworks due to the drought, but will all continue with the rest of the celebrations as planned. Mundelein will postpone the fireworks to an undetermined date.
Wauconda and Antioch have postponed their fireworks shows until an undetermined date.
Fox River Grove has postponed the fireworks show to Sept. 8, 2012.
The Round Lake Area Park District has postponed its fireworks show until Sept. 2, 2012.
