Car Fire In Garage At Gold Coast Condo Tower

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A fire reportedly broke out in a car parked in a high-rise garage early Tuesday in a quiet, affluent section of the Gold Coast.
The fire was reported in the garage of the high-rise condi building at 1501 N. State Pkwy., on the northeast corner of State and Burton Place.
A car was reportedly burning, and the fire was quickly put out.
Early reports said smoke might be coming out of the building, but an update indicated that nothing was found.
CBS 2's Don Schwenneker reports State Parkway was closed at the scene, and firefighters and paramedics were called out.
