Fire severely damages mobile home in Elgin, Illinois
ELGIN, Ill. (CBS) -- Heavy smoke rose into the air in Elgin Wednesday, after a fire burned through the roof of a mobile home and threatened neighboring homes.
The fire broke out in a mobile home on Sandra Lane near its cul-de-sac at Villa Street.
The fire left part of the mobile home a charred ruin. Homes on either side were also damaged.
It was not immediately learned if anyone was hurt, or how the fire started.
