Fire Damages Little Village Home
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A smoky fire damaged a home in the Little Village neighborhood overnight.
The fire broke out around 3:50 a.m. in a 2 1/2-story brick residence at 2628 S. Hamlin Ave., according to fire officials.
Neighboring buildings also sustained minor damage in the fire
The Chicago Department of Human Services is helping care for the displaced residents. The department is still assessing the number of people who need human services.
No injuries were reported in the fire.
