CHICAGO (STMW) -- No injuries were reported when an elevator house caught fire on the roof of a four-story building Thursday afternoon in the Bucktown neighborhood.
Firefighters were notified about noon of a fire on the roof of a building at Elston and Webster, according to Fire Media Affairs spokesman Richard Rosado.
The fire was found in an elevator house on the roof and was caused by the elevator's motor, Rosado said. The fire was quickly extinguished and no injuries were reported.
