Fighting Irish Move To No. 8 In AP Poll
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish moved to No. 8 in the most recent AP Top 25 poll, up from No. 9 last week.
The past week was highlighted with a win over the then ranked No. 2 Pittsburgh Panthers, but also included wins over DePaul and Rutgers.
Illinois was left off the top 25, but did receive enough votes to put them at No. 38 in the country.
Ohio State was the unanimous top team receiving all 64 votes for the top spot.
